Geek Fantasy Camp makes its inaugural debut in the world. The event brought together entrepreneurs from several counties in Latin America along with Silicon Valley investors. At the end of the day 4 teams (that launched their startup at the event over the course of 3 days) walked away with free mentorship and an all expense paid trip to Silicon Valley in June 2012.
MBA Contest 2011 is organized by the Chilean Association of Information Technology companies (ACTI A.G.), with the support of Innova Chile from CORFO. Last Thursday the judges revealed the list of the selected projects that are going to compete in the 8th version of EmprendeUC new business challenge. Selected entrepreneurs will have access to three different workshops that are going to be held in October and November. EmprendeUC 2011 is going to contribute a total of $38.630.000 (CLP) on cash.
The contest is organized by EmprendeUC and Duoc UC, and is sponsored by BCI, Price House Water Coopers, GMOE, De la Barra, Ernst & Siebel, El Mercurio, Incuba UC, Innova Chile CORFO and Canal 13 C.
The awards event is scheduled for December 7th, 2011.
