The rapidly growing startup has hit three major milestones in less than 30 days, winning a cash award plus a trip to Silicon Valley inclusive of mentorship from top startup founders and investors.
Nixter brings the nightclub VIP card to the mobile world, allowing club go’ers to use their smart phone as an access pass. Their program also allows them to take advantage of restaurant and retail store discounts and promotions and provides a backend administrative dashboard for nightclub managers, owners and promoters.
Geek Fantasy Camp + UDD Fair + Global Connections
On October 29, 2011 Nixter was won of 4 teams to win a trip to Silicon Valley in IncubaUC’s first ever Geek Fantasy Camp. And on Friday, November 18, 2011 they won the Universidad de Desarollo (UDD’s entrepreneurship competition) taking home a $2,600 USD cash prize. They also learned on Friday that their startup was accepted into the Global Connections Program de Corfo which will give the team the opportunity to travel to Plug and Play in Silicon Valley, USA for 3 months and accelerate their startup.
