Are you a composer? A musician?
Even though I am not really a composer, I must admit that I have attempted to write (and actually did write) a piece of music for flute or piano a few times in my life.
But what do you do when you’re for example in the metro, or with some friends and all of a sudden you have that great tune or melody in your head and you are afraid for forgetting it before you get a chance to write it down?
No worries! Since there is Mindscore, you can compose your music whenever and wherever you want – without even having an instrument at hand!
Created by Felipe Peña and César Rebolledo, Mindscore is a mobile app available in the Apple App Store that makes composing quick and easy, basically transforming your iPod/iPhone/iPad into a music notebook.
After releasing their iPhone app in September 2011, they won the AppCircus Chile round in october 2011, received Capital Semilla funding from CORFO in April 2012 and finally, they were also selected to be incubated in Wayre Chile, an incubator from Telefónica.

Mindscore at Techcrunch Disrupt in SF!
From September 8th until the 12th, the worldwide Techcrunch Disrupt event takes place in San Francisco, USA and the team of Mindscore is excited to be part of that special event in order to make their application internationally well-known.
This is actually the very first time that also Chilean entrepreneurs are able to promote their startups at this conference in a dedicated pavillion – thanks to AndesBeat! :)
Mindscore, represented by Felipe Peña Riveros at the conference, is going to present their new version of the iOS app with a interface and MIDI export feature and there will also be a web launch with new functions such as sharing songs among users.
For Mindscore this is of course a huge opportunity to make their product known internationally and to get good feedback for improvements. If you will be at TechCrunch Disrupt SF, be sure to stop by their booth to see their app in action.
