Last year AndesBeat was in charge of organizing a chilean pavilion (the demo area for newly launched Chilean startups) at TechCrunch Disrupt San Francisco and promoting the opportunity within our local networks.
It was the first time that the chilean startups had the chance to attend a three-day conference, single-track conference and startup competition to discover which technology trends and companies will lead each industry in the upcoming months.
Amongst the speakers were Mark Zuckerberg, Jack Dorsey, Marc Benioff, Ron Conway, Mark Suster, Kevin Rose and more.
Alejandro Russo, founder at Klooff (an app for pet lovers) attended to the conference, and brought a poster of Beast (Zuckerberg’s dog) that said “Zuck uses Facebook, I use Klooff”. Next stop then was to work on the details to get a picture with Mark, and Klooff team achieved it’s mission.
Since AndesBeat is now managing the chilean pavilion at TechCrunch Disrupt New York 2013 (April 29th – May 1st), we organized a meetup to connect local startups interested in joining the pavilion at New York and invited Alejandro Russoto share his TC Disrupt story and experience.
