Last Sunday (Nov 27th), HackSantiago teams made their presentations. There were a total of 8 die hard projects that participated in all 48 hours of the Hackathon. Just one project was started Saturday’s night and it didn’t have something ready to show by Sunday.
The topics of developed projects were related with real state, gaming, mobile payments and home automation, amongst others.
Development sessions ended by 6pm and the organizers: Karla Lopez (JobConvo), Guillermo Horno (PropiedadFacil) and Frederico Camara (Loveblip) requested teams to get started with their presentations…
The judges were Josefa Villarroel (CORFO), Marcos Rivas (ACTI) and Victor Hugo Muñoz (Emprende Claro) and the HackSantiago staff.
At 8:30pm, the judges revealed the winners of the competition:
1º Banco (mobile payment)
2º Proyecto X E-Box (home automation)
3º Quorum (build communities around specific needs)
Congrats to the teams that won the competition!!
Over the next days, we’ll be interviewing all the different teams that were part of HackSantiago to provide more insights about their projects.
