Loogares, the most complete online city and entertainment guide with recommendations of places to visit in your free time and various services in Chile and Argentina has expanded its online presence by releasing their first application for iPhone. Imagine 15,000 restaurants, bars and places of interest, all just a few clicks away.
The new app is now available in the Apple App Store and based on your physical location will display tons of places around you which have been rated by real people from your own community. The app provides a complete listing of bars, restaurants, timetables, wi-fi zones, happy hours and more. Check it out!
15,000 places & more
The application, which can be downloaded from the Apple App Store now includes more than 15,000 places in its database, organized into over 70 different categories in which you can find everything from bars and clothing stores to squares/plazas, movie theaters and hotels. Each place is presented with the address marked in a map, the option of calling directly via telephone by simply using a button, basic information such as timetables, filters for finding places with different options such as paying with redcompra (debit) or credit card, wifi network, happy hour, facilities for disabled people, etc.

Past + future
Loogares, founded and based in Santiago, Chile, was founded by 3 friends Nicolás Brown (Commercial Engineer), Alberto Marcías (Designer) and Jordi Casanueva (Designer) and has become more and more popular with more and more reviews of places included in their guide.
Loogares is a Start-up Chile alumni and is currently being incubated in NXTP Labs, a startup accelerator headquartered in Buenos Aires, where they opened their first international market. They are present in the cities Santiago de Chile, Viña del Mar, Valparaíso and Buenos Aires. Their upcoming plans include an expansion to Brazil and the rest of Latin America.
