Mindscore, the composing revolution at Techcrunch Disrupt in SF!

Are you a composer? A musician?

Even though I am not really a composer, I must admit that I have attempted to write (and actually did write) a piece of music for flute or piano a few times in my life.

But what do you do when you’re for example in the metro, or with some friends and all of a sudden you have that great tune or melody in your head and you are afraid for forgetting it before you get a chance to write it down?

No worries! Since there is Mindscore, you can compose your music whenever and wherever you want – without even having an instrument at hand! Continue reading

AndesBeat is proud to announce Christian Limon from Tapjoy as our next confirmed AndesMade mentor.

He will be working with our international advisory team for our forthcoming AndesMade immersion based initiative to support Chilean startup founders and tech entrepreneurs with rapid prototyping and quickly getting their ideas into the marketplace with their bootstrapping mode on.

Our beta group launches 26 May 2012.

One of the major incentives to stimulate and capture the interest of this group will obviously be exploring ways to mass distribute and monetize those apps.

IguanaBee buzzes into the game localization market for China

Back in mid 2010 after I read that Playstation had announced the localization of their games for the Latin America market I thought that this would inevitably kick off a cross-pollination of indie game designers and apps.

And it appears that Chilean indie game developers IguanaBee were affirming it in real time.

From developing augmented reality games for consumer based brands to 3D audio games for blind gamers, they are going to the outer boundaries of niche markets in the gaming world. Their next stop…China.

Dongzhe Sun from China (featured in photo above), will be in Chile supporting IguanaBee in China for 6 months.
